I regularly drive by an Angie’s Prime Grill & Lobster but, until the MacaroniKID publisher from North Phoenix filled me in, I went right on by. No longer, though, because it turns out this is a GREAT PLACE!
Angie’s was started by the same couple that created Salad to Go, but Angie’s offers more than salads. Their emphasis is on quality food that’s actually good for you and delicious, at fast food prices, and fast food ordering time. Affordable, quality food is something we all crave and want for our families. They serve antibiotic and hormone free chicken, USDA prime steak, and wild-caught Mexican colossal shrimp. The food is made fresh and there are many options enabling you to create your perfect meal!
The restaurant may not look remarkable as you drive up, and there is no on site seating, but that’s part of their business plan. They save on those expenses in order to allocate more of their operating budget on great food and good pay for their employees. It’s a trade off that benefits employees and customers!
I went by twice this week. Once in the evening for a dinner salad (got a Cobb with chicken) and another time in the morning to take advantage of their breakfast & lunch “deal”. Their deal must be ordered by 10:30 am and you get a drink, breakfast burrito and salad for only $10! I was so happy with the food. The portions were generous and filling, it all tasted great, and the cold brew coffee was really good. That’s what’s pictured here. Both times I ordered on my phone and drove over to pick it up. My food was ready, the employee at the window was friendly, and the whole process was quick. Angie’s is a great business that I will frequent now that I know about it! I hope you give it a try and like it as much as I do.
