Aug 25, 2026! That’s a big day for Pumpkin Spice Latte lovers because that’s the day they come out at Starbucks. And while a PSL is delicious, don’t forget there are MANY other locally owned coffee shops in the West Valley to enjoy and support with your business.
Here are some area coffee shops you might like to try:
Union Coffee Company - Peoria
At Union Coffee Co., they roast all of their coffees in house to bring out the freshest beans possible. They seek to connect people and serve great coffee.
Milk & Honey - Litchfield Park
Milk & Honey Coffee opened earlier this year and is becoming well known, especially for the lattes and matcha drinks they serve. The space is cozy and fits right into the character of Old Litchfield Park where it is located.
Homage Coffee House - Glendale
This independent shop serves exceptional coffee and tea as well as desert and breakfast treats. FYI during August they are closed Tues and Weds.
New Penny Cafe - Avondale
New Penny Café is a breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee and cocktails fast casual restaurant! Located off Avondale Blvd and the I-10. The same owner also runs Goodyear’s Enroute Coffee & Tea House
Aruba Cafe Co. - Peoria
Enjoy a taste of paradise with fresh bites, a wide range of handcrafted drinks, and island vibes in Park West.
